Ernest Samsel

 

Ernest Samsel is an advocate and a member of the District Bar Association in Warsaw (Poland). For the last twelve years he has worked for both local and international clients dealing with commercial and companies law with extensive experience in real estate, intellectual property and unfair competition. Ernest Samsel specialises in litigation and arbitration, including criminal cases. Between 2007 and 2010 he cooperated with the biggest Polish legal firm Domański Zakrzewski Palinka. Previously, he was a lawyer in Warsaw based law office Łepkowski Boszko & Partners (2006-2007) and Polish-English legal firm Rutkowski Windmill Gąsiewski & Roman (2003-2006). He also gained his professional experience in Lovells H.Seisler (2002), Drzewiecki Tomaszek & Partners (2002) and in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland (2001). In 2000-2001 he has been Vice-President of ELSA Poland Management Board where he was responsible for contacts with key partners, marketing and PR.

 

Ernest Samsel was admitted to the Warsaw Bar in 2005 and completed the advocate training with honors. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He awarded a Master’s Degree in Law and wrote his MA thesis on commercial arbitration at the Department for Civil Procedure. Additionally, he attended the Jean Monnet Centre for European Studies at the UMK. He also participated in various Polish and international courses, seminars and workshops (e.g. organised by OSCE, Brian Tracy International, the Haus Rissen Institute in Hamburg, Andersen, ING Barings and Communication Partners). Ernest Samsel regularly publishes articles in the national press and is an author of a number of scientific publications, in particular in the area of arbitration. In addition to his native Polish he is fluent in English.
