Joanna Dąbrowska-Samsel



Joanna Dąbrowska-Samsel is an advocate and a member of the Bar Association in Warsaw. She has a significant experience in providing legal services for entrepreneurs including foreign entities relating to commercial and labour law as well as intellectual and industrial property and litigation. Previously she was employed in the law firms Beiten Burkhardt P.Daszkowski (2004-2009), Haarmann Hemmelrath Zieliński (2002-2004) and Grot Łepmicki Sarbiński Zimny (2002). In 2000-2001 she also worked in the National Bar Association. Additionally, she gained international experience in the legal firm Schellenberg & Wittmer in Switzerland as well as in the firm VNG Verbundnetz Gas AG in Germany.


Joanna Dąbrowska-Samsel completed in 2003-2006 the court apprenticeship at the Warsaw District Court and passed the final judge with one of the top results (2007). She graduated of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Silesian University in Katowice (2001). She was a holder of the scholarship of the Ministry of National Education for high academic scores and particular achievements in scientific work (2000). Her master's thesis related to liability of State Treasury aspects. During her studies Joanna Dąbrowska-Samsel participated in various Polish and international courses, seminars and trainings. In 2001 she was holding the position of the President of ELSA Poland coordinating many national educational projects. She published a number of articles in Palestra, The European Antitrust Review, Synergy, Edukacja Prawnicza and Prawo Europejskie. She speaks German and has a fluent command of English.
